All letting agents and private landlords that take tenancy deposits in Scotland are required to safeguard them with a Government approved tenancy deposit protection scheme.

Safeguarding Your Tenancy Deposit

A tenancy deposit scheme is a scheme provided by an independent third party to protect deposits until they are due to be repaid.

Your Tenancy Deposit – We provide peace of mind

All our tenancy deposits are registered with an approved government deposit scheme, in line with current legislation. Your deposit is a liability to our business and at the end of a tenancy we want these funds returned to you as soon as possible. Once we have carried out the final property inspection, cleared all utilities and you have left the condition of the property in the same clean and tidy fashion as you found it, the deposit will be returned to you straight away within the timescale of the approved deposit scheme.

Moving Out – Quick Checklist

  1. Take a note of up-to-date meter readings, finalise all utility accounts and provide us with forwarding addresses.
  2. Remove all belongings, clean and tidy the property in the same fashion as you found it
  3. Ensure all keys are returned to Central Letting Services at 737 Pollokshaws Road, G41 2AA
